Hope Wellness Center

TREATING CANCER AND CHRONIC DISEASE
Established in 1995, Hope Wellness Center is a modern, out-patient clinic located just across the border from Del Rio, Texas. Patients stay in nearby hotels or rental condos on the Texas side, and travel across the border for treatment every weekday. This clinic works closely with an oncologist in Del Rio, so if patients need scans, transfusions, etc they can be ordered by a US oncologist, and paid for by insurance. The clinic has WiFi and offers fresh green juices daily. The medical staff here is very one-on-one with the patients, and devote themselves to the patients individual needs. This Christian clinic provides a loving, caring environment that encourages both physical and spiritual healing.

Dr. Elio Rivera, M.D. and Dr. Steven Hines, N.D. head up the medical team. These doctors point out that diseases considered incurable in one country are often successfully treated in another. They use aggressive natural treatments from across the globe to offer patients the best chance of recovering from illness. Their core values include really listening to their patients, diligently searching for the latest scientific research and earnestly seeking to find the root of each patient’s problem, in order to cure the patient.

Elio Martin Rivera Celaya, MD
Dr. Rivera is a conventionally trained medical physician with more than 25 years of clinical experience. For the past 15 years, he has cross-trained into nutritional medicine. He is certified in chelation, oxygen, nutritional and magnet therapy. Dr. Rivera is also a pastor and founder of a non-denominational Christian Fellowship church in Mexico. He has authored several bilingual Christian books and speaks internationally. Dr. Rivera also founded several orphanages in Mexico, and one is right next door to the medical center. His compassion is evident in his medical practice and his ministry.

A typical stay is between 6 – 8 weeks. During this time patients develop deep friendships with the other patients, and often get together for outings on the weekend. Treatments may include oral and IV superior nutrition and supplements, magnetic therapy, oxygen therapy, ozone therapy, live cell therapy, biological dentistry, hydrogen peroxide, sodium bicarbonate, hyper-cellular respiratory therapy (according to Dr Warburg), herbal remedies, enzymes, massage, counseling, etc. Hope Wellness Center also utilizes the Greek Botanical Report ( a special blood test that determines which natural medicines will be most effective for the patient). Stem cell treatment is also available if needed. Every patient has an individual treatment plan, designed specifically for their needs.
Patient education is also stressed here, to give the patient the tools needed to achieve long term success. A staff counselor is also available if requested.
Each patient is required to bring a companion along, for moral support and so the patient won’t be alone when not in treatment. There are many lodging options – campgrounds, hotels and rental condos that work with the clinic to provide patient discounts. Organic foods are available at the Del Rio H.E.B. grocery store. Hope Wellness is 3 hours from San Antonio. There is an airport and car rental agency in Del Rio.
This clinic is very affordable, and payment can be made weekly, by credit cards or check. The clinic also works with American Medical Health Alliance to help you file your insurance claims. If you’d like to speak to the doctors here, please call us and we’ll set up a free consult for you.
