Located in downtown Tijuana, Stella Maris is led by Dr. Gilberto Alvarez, who is a licensed medical doctor in both Mexico and the United States.

His 28 years of experience include working with Dr. Ernesto Contreras, being the Medical Director of the Manner Clinic and since 1993, Medical Director of Stella Maris Clinic.

Dr. Alvarez has a reputation for being honest, ethical and successful with his cancer treatments.

In addition to cancer prevention programs, Dr. Alvarez offers complete diagnostic services, including chemo sensitivity tests, exams, complete labs, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds.

His cancer protocols may include IVs (amigdalin or B17), Vitamin C, DMSO,  chelation, IV ozone, immune-modulators, whole body hyperthermia, dendritic  cell therapy, nutritional guidance  and cancer vaccines.  There are two cancer treatment packages, depending on the needs of the patient.

According to Dr. Alvarez, the cancers that respond best to his treatment are breast, lung, prostate, brain, colon, and lymphomas.

This is an outpatient facility, and patient receive a special discount at the nearby four-star Lucerna Hotel.  The hotel uses only safe filtered water in their ice, beverage and food preparation.  The clinic provides transportation from the San Diego airport, and back and forth from the hotel to the clinic.
